The community of Cordova is an unincorporated community in Eastern Shelby County Tennessee. A significant portion of the community is located within the City of Memphis. The Cordova Community dates back to the mid 1800's and has been long known for its Motto "Farms, Flowers and Fellowship". Cordova Leadership Council embraces that motto as it helps our citizens maintain and enhance the Cordova Experience in our community. Cordova Leadership Council (CLC) was formed in 2004 by a group of devoted citizens under the direction of State Senator Paul Stanley to bring cohesion to the Cordova community and serve as the 'go-to' group should issues of concern arise. All persons residing, working or owning land within the zip codes of 38018 and 38016 are invited to participate in the CLC. The general boundaries of the CLC are Highway 64 on the North, Wolf River on the South, Whitten Rd. on the West, and Houston Levee and Pisgah Roads on the East.
We invite all Cordovans to be engaged by getting on our email list, simply send a note to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
